that is a great song. when NIN did it, you could hear the drug abuser crying out, and when mr johnny cash did it, you could hear an old mans lament. Cash's video was better. i saw my grandfathers life in it, and the bit with the wounded knee memorial and christ, man! my question is, are you covering it because its an incredible song and you like it, or is there deeper meaning for you?

Both. While the song was written about drug addiction I feel it also very aptly describes what its like to suffer from long term chronic depression, which I was recently diagnosed with and am currently being medicated for.
