Telemarketing was something I had dabbled in, but I was too embarrassed to admit it. It was the horror of horrors of jobs.
I've had to work telemarketing twice in my life (neither time was for very long, only until I could find a "real job"). It was one of the most umpleasant things I've ever had to do.
Many times I've actually clocked out wanting to kill myself. I mean, how many times in one day could a person possibly be hung up on?
