I definitely agree on two things in the five biggest joys list: music and friends!
Another thing: I noticed you list Tolkien's Silmarillion among your favourite books. I've been interested in the similarity of the idea of One Note that is present in Lifehouse and Pete's thinking, and the creation myth in Silmarillion: Eru gave the Ainur a musical theme of which the universe was born. I'm interested in finding Tolkien's influences - whether he came up with it on his own, got influences from the mythology of different cultures or what. Have you happened to come across any musical themes in "real" mythologies of different cultures, particularly in creation myths?
